When I think about where I am now and who helped me get here, Cornelly is one of the first restaurants to come to mind. Years ago, Brett Phillips invited me into Cornelly to have a meal and to talk about a custom pasta knife he had been dreaming up for quite some time. He brought me so much food I had to physically tap out, the hospitality made me feel included into his world. There was one dish in particular that stuck with me. A briney and bright cauliflower appetizer. Scattered among the remains of this dish, after plowing through it, were crispy breadcrumbs, chilli flakes and pieces of fried white anchovies. A combination made for me in heaven. That moment defined Cornelly for me and started a relationship with the staff I will feel forever grateful for. This shirt is more than just art on a canvas, it's a piece of my experience from this amazing community of creatives I get to share with you all.
A quality shirt, made the right way.
The blanks are made by Everybody World in CA from 100% reclaimed waste cotton from the fashion industry.
I had these shirts printed by the amazing team at Midnight Supply Company, a Filipina, woman-owned print shop just a few blocks from my shop in Southpark.
The art was first created as a physical painting by my incredibly talented friend Gemma Kealy, and then transfered into digital art by her amazing partner Niles.
I am 6' 0", 160lbs and wearing a size medium. They are made to fit slightly oversized and boxy (a size small doesnt quite fit me right).
