The petty knife pattern is a traditional French pattern. Used as a do-all utility knife this is a very versatile profile from oblique cut carrot to portioning proteins. This knife's geometry is thin at the edge with a taper at the spine to give it a thin but sturdy cross-section. A small but mighty and often overlooked addition to your knife roll.
