A refined eastern inspired take on the ever popular 8" chef's knife but this time in Japanese made San Mai steel. This steel came all the way from the legendary Takefu steel mill in the Takefu Knife Village to be forged into a beautiful and totally unique culinary knife in my little shop on the Duwamish. V-toku2 is a high performance carbon steel that is very stable at a high harness. This stellar blade steel is paired with a stainless steel jacket to give it strength and some corrosion resistance on the flats and bevels. Forged thin and ground thinner this chef knife is what's referred to as a "laser." Sure to put a smile on your face every time you use it and, as always, serviced for life.
