Buy a print, be entered to win a knife! It's that easy. The winner will be announced when the prints sell out.

Combining the performance and tradition of high carbon steel with the corrosion resistance of modern stainless steel, this chef's knife is inspired after popular Japanese patterns. A flatter edge, thin cross section and superb forward balance makes this knife a blast to use in the kitchen. The next best addition to your kitchen or knife roll.

Don't be scared away by a high carbon core! If you can take care of a cast iron pan you can take care of a high carbon knife. Simply wash and dry thoroughly after use and apply a layer of oil on the carbon core before putting it away for the night. A camilia oil rag will be included with your knife to make getting into the habit of taking care of your knife, easy!

The handle is a piece of Paduak salvaged from a dock in Thailand. The nail hole was left in this block of wood from the dock's construction which is a detail I decided I needed to keep in the finished handle to add to the character and story.

Handmade in Burien, WA.
